How can I afford a professional web site?

It is not so difficult... Based on what many small businesses need for web sites, most can have us do a CUSTOM site for $300-500. This would include initial setup, page design, simple graphics, and one or two photos being scanned and placed on the web site.

I already have a web site on a directory service... why create my own?

Many businesses have bought into services or design companies that offer specialized directories... They may include directories for professional people, or within a town or geographic location. These services are COUNTING on you NOT to know what to do on your own. These directories assume that you are like everyone else in the directory. In most cases, they use inexpensive "TEMPLATES" to design a site... and your site ends up looking like it just came off the shelf - just like everyone else's site. WE DO EVERY SITE ON A CUSTOM BASIS! We take the time to learn who you are and what makes you different!

What will a web site do for me?

In most cases, web sites will be used in one of the following ways:

  1. A simple presence on the Internet - Image building
  2. Reference - A place for current and potential customers/clients to go to learn more about you
  3. Marketing / Operations - A place for interactive technology to be used by staff and customers / vendors to get forms and other business tools
  4. Full-fledged E-commerce

Items 1-2 are relatively simple and can range from least expensive sites (less than $200) up to full fledged e-commerce sites in the $5-10,000 range or higher.

We have a web site... it does nothing for us.

That's one of the toughest areas to address with our clients. In many cases, people have been given the impression that you can "throw" a simple 1-2 page site up on the Internet, NOT have your own domain name, and do nothing to promote the site, and somehow people will come flocking to you! (Sometimes, it can be people in the web design profession that even GIVE this impression!) If you have a site that has taken little effort and planning, that looks like a "stock template", and that does NOT integrate with your advertising and marketing strategy, then getting NO RESULTS is all too common.
